Royal Caribbean’s stateroom beds across the entire fleet are twin beds that convert to a Royal King size bed. A Royal King bed measures 72.5 inches wide by 82 inches long.
A Virtual Balcony is an 80-inch high-definition screen inside interior staterooms that spans nearly floor to ceiling. For the first time ever, you can enjoy real-time views and sounds of the ocean and destinations from the comfort of your interior stateroom.
At this time, only real-time, scenic views are available.
Inside your Virtual Balcony stateroom, you’ll hear the sounds of the ocean in real time as you cruise to your next destination.
This industry innovation will be as true to life as a real balcony view. You’ll be able to take in sunrises and sunsets while at sea, along with ports and destinations.
No, for the viewing pleasure of our guests, the content will be scenic only at this time
The Virtual Balcony staterooms will be as true to life as a real balcony view as possible. As such, there will be times (such as in port) when guests looking out a balcony will have their view obstructed by a building, for example.
At this time, we are not planning to offer this feature. The vertical orientation of the TVs would make this a less than ideal screen on which to play video games.
Yes, guests will have the option of having the screen either on or off.
